Valerie Murray
Administrative Assistant
As an administrative assistant in Stratacomm’s Detroit office, Valerie Murray provides daily support managing multiple office functions. Val’s primary responsibilities include answering incoming calls, processing mail, and processing of monthly invoices. Additionally, she generates and approves purchase order requests and prepares the office for all presentations and meetings.
Starting as a temp in May 2010, Val made an impression on the Stratacomm staff by quickly learning the office processes and flawlessly coordinating an office move. In February 2011, she accepted an offer to become a permanent member of the Stratacomm team.
Val brings more than 30 years of office management experience to the agency. Before joining Stratacomm, she was a district administrator at GM Planworks (Starcom Media Vest), where she provided direct support to as many as six vice presidents of the finance and digital teams simultaneously. She was also the manager in charge of purchasing at Cadillac Products where she led her department to pass the QS9000 audit. Additionally, Val worked as an executive assistant for Eastman Kodak’s copier division where her responsibilities covered a spectrum of managerial duties.
