Who We Are
At Your Service
Creative. Results-driven. Motivated. Inquisitive. Risk-taking. Innovative. Spirited. Ethical. Fun. These attributes aren’t things easily discernable from a resume. They are, however, the core characteristics Stratacomm looks for when someone wants to join us.
Those making the cut are a balance of seasoned professionals and rising stars. They are experts in transportation, energy and environment, infrastructure, defense and security, education, and healthcare, to name but a few areas. They are digital experts, policy wonks, powerful writers, special events mavens, and media junkies. This rich and varied blend of people and expertise allows us to build customized account groups that are tailored specifically for each client’s particular needs. Our people embrace a challenge and dig in to help our clients win. We create a dynamic culture that brings out the collective’s very best work.
We value the individual and cultivate the team. Together, we work hard, have fun, and understand that our reputation is built (and maintained) by two things: unmatched client service and winning results.

Shannon Blair
Vice President, Administration
- Directs office operations – HR, interns, new hires, employee benefits, etc..
- Manages office space and subtenants
- Helps with client events when needed
Shannon joined Stratacomm in 1998 after providing administrative support to the Chevrolet Communications office in Woodbridge, N.J. and also for the Coalition for Vehicle Choice in Washington, D.C. Prior to entering the private sector, she worked for the Energy and Commerce committee, chaired by Congressman John D. Dingell (D-MI).
Before choosing the full-time office management gig at Stratacomm, she provided event planning services for many of the firm’s first clients: Daimler Chrysler's NECAR 4 - the first driveable fuel cell, zero emissions passenger car in the U.S. and ESX3 - Daimler Chrysler's third generation PNGV car; the introduction to Cadillac's Night Vision Technology on MY2000 DeVille's; and the media unveiling of the winning design for the Woodrow Wilson Bridge.
When Shannon is not around to make sure staff are following the rules, she is usually found by GPS per her dog rescue volunteer work. Other times, she is at home trying to organize her sports-fanatic husband and hairy golden retriever. Shannon is a graduate of Queens University of Charlotte, N.C. with a B.A. in Political Science and History.
