Who We Are
At Your Service
Creative. Results-driven. Motivated. Inquisitive. Risk-taking. Innovative. Spirited. Ethical. Fun. These attributes aren’t things easily discernable from a resume. They are, however, the core characteristics Stratacomm looks for when someone wants to join us.
Those making the cut are a balance of seasoned professionals and rising stars. They are experts in transportation, energy and environment, infrastructure, defense and security, education, and healthcare, to name but a few areas. They are digital experts, policy wonks, powerful writers, special events mavens, and media junkies. This rich and varied blend of people and expertise allows us to build customized account groups that are tailored specifically for each client’s particular needs. Our people embrace a challenge and dig in to help our clients win. We create a dynamic culture that brings out the collective’s very best work.
We value the individual and cultivate the team. Together, we work hard, have fun, and understand that our reputation is built (and maintained) by two things: unmatched client service and winning results.

Nicole Burdiss joined Stratacomm as an assistant account executive in April 2011 . First joining the firm as a digital intern in October 2010, Nicole makes significant contributions to a variety of accounts. Her specialties include research, community management and editorial services.
As well-rounded member of the Stratacomm team, Nicole combines her interest in social media and love for writing by supporting several digital projects. In addition to participating in developing digital strategies, she leads social media content development for several clients, including the Department of Energy and Root Learning. She also helps colleagues stay on top of trends in social media and public relations by creating an internal weekly news digest. Despite her digital expertise, Nicole also provides traditional media and event support for clients like Protean Electric, Aluminum Association’s Transportation Group, and Houghton Mifflin Harcourt.
Nicole graduated from Central Michigan University where she studied public relations and Spanish. While at CMU, she interned in CMU’s communications office and worked in an on-campus technology office. She also had the opportunity to study abroad in Spain, where she lived with a Spanish family and studied the European Union and art history. In her spare time, Nicole wrote for CMU’s newspaper and online magazine, and served as a study abroad ambassador for CMU’s Office of International Education.
When she’s not reading, writing or online, Nicole can be found enjoying live music, fresh air, good food and good company – ideally all at the same time.
