Those making the cut are a balance of seasoned professionals and rising stars. They are experts in transportation, energy and environment, infrastructure, defense and security, education, and healthcare, to name but a few areas.  They are digital experts, policy wonks, powerful writers, special events mavens, and media junkies.  This rich and varied blend of people and expertise allows us to build customized account groups that are tailored specifically for each client’s particular needs.  Our people embrace a challenge and dig in to help our clients win. Since joining Stratacomm's Detroit office in 2007, Karah has worked with a wide range of clients in various industries including, the University of Michigan, the U.S. Department of Energy, smart USA, Chevrolet, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration - just to name a few.

While a media relations maven with a wide portfolio, Karah is an admitted fanatic of all things digital. From representing Chevrolet at the South by Southwest film, interactive and music festival two years in a row, to mastering the complexities of social media engagement and analytics, Karah has a passion for leveraging digital communications strategies to enhance otherwise traditional public relations campaigns.

Karah holds a Master of Arts degree in public relations and organizational communication from Wayne State University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in advertising from Michigan State University. Karah is also an active member of Detroit’s public relations community, serving on the board of directors for the Public Relations Society of America’s (PRSA) local Chapter.
