Stratacommendations

Passion. Hustle. Teamwork. It takes all of these attributes and more to work at Stratacomm. Teamwork, however, is at the core of our success – it is what we are all about. Teamwork is so ingrained in our DNA, once a year our employees celebrated the one colleague in their office who stands out as a shining example of our mission and core values. Nominated by their peers, the honorees for Stratacomm’s Team Player of the Year award from our Washington, D.C. and Detroit offices must embody and exhibit the following criteria in all aspects of their professional endeavors:
- Respect for the individual. Superior client service and continuous innovation are achieved by listening to and trusting each other, and by respecting the dignity and the creative potential of each Stratacomm staff member.
- Teamwork is everything. We all have a responsibility to work together to produce outstanding results that make a real difference for our clients and that enable our firm to grow.
- Stratacomm requires a personal commitment. Each of us must have a desire to succeed -- but not at the expense of others. It’s all about the willingness to go along with the wishes of others for the benefit of the team.
- Personal success is measurable and attainable. In our culture, this personal success comes from being an achiever, from being a team player, and from respecting others.
This year’s award winners are Jessica Larkin (DC) and Jasmin Nadalizadeh (Detroit).
In addition to her stellar client work, Jessica has a key role in managing our ever-important news monitoring process in the D.C. office and has recently led the charge for transitioning the firm to a new media tracking platform in order to increase efficiency both for our staff and our clients. Here’s what a few of her colleagues shared about her:
- She is communicative, hard-working, and best of all - fun to work with!
- She consistently goes above and beyond, takes responsibility seriously, and helps her colleagues and strives for excellence in her work.
- She consistently puts her hand up, even though she is one of the busiest people in the office.
- On countless occasions, she has come in early, worked late, seen a project through over the weekend or made herself available on vacation if it meant a better result for the client.
- She definitely has the best laugh in the office – which in and of itself is infectious and inspires the team spirit.
Recently promoted to Account Executive, Jasmin’s positive, can-do attitude is infectious, and she’s been a team player since the very beginning of her tenure with Stratacomm as an intern. From pitching in on office administrative duties when our Detroit office was without an office manager to flying to Las Vegas to provide on-site support for a press conference, Jasmin has never shied away from a challenge. Her colleagues also were not shy with their appreciation:
- Instead of temporarily stepping in to fill a void, she becomes the go-to person, whether it’s for a client project or an administrative task.
- She does an amazing job at balancing her client workload, helping on administrative issues and raising her hand to help on projects when needed.
- She wore many hats while we made significant transitions with the administrative role and did so with a smile on her face.
- She has exhibited tremendous growth over the past year. Whatever it takes to deliver on client objectives, she is up to the task.
Both Jessica and Jasmin are stellar examples of Stratacomm’s commitment to excellent client service. We are privileged to call them colleagues and friends.
