Stratacomm Adds One, Promotes One in Detroit Office
Nicole Burdiss joins as assistant account executive, Karah Street promoted to account director
BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich., July 22, 2011 – Stratacomm, LLC announced today that the agency’s Detroit office has added Nicole Burdiss as an assistant account executive and has promoted Karah Street to account director.
Since joining the firm as a digital intern in October 2010, Burdiss has made significant contributions to a variety of accounts. She has supported social media content development for several clients, including Chevrolet and Toledo-based strategic consultancy Root Learning. She also provides day-to-day media and event support for clients like the University of Michigan, the Aluminum Association’s Aluminum Transportation Group (ATG) and Houghton Mifflin Harcourt. Nicole graduated from Central Michigan University where she studied public relations and Spanish.

Street joined the agency in 2007 and has since helped manage and lead many agency accounts, including BBK, the University of Michigan Ross School of Business Executive Education and Chevrolet, which she has represented at the South by Southwest Music Conference and Festival for the past two years. In her current role, she will lead integrated communications campaigns for various agency accounts, including the University of Michigan. Street is an active member of Detroit’s public relations community, serving on the board of directors for the Public Relations Society of America’s (PRSA) local chapter. She holds a Master of Arts degree in public relations and organizational communication from Wayne State University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in advertising from Michigan State University.
