In a fiercely competitive market, universities and other places of learning must use marketing and branding to tell their story and convey their value proposition to potential students. Social networks and one-on-one dialogue are both important to build credibility, reach media, and influence donors and other stakeholders. The marketplace is changing, and schools must realize that a strong reputation is no longer enough to drive enrollment.

We have turned this challenge into an opportunity by identifying where our key audiences work, live and play – be it a sporting event, cultural event, nightclub or science fair – and determining the most effective communication platforms, such as search engine results and social media outposts, to deliver messages directly to them.

- Raise the University of Michigan Ross School of Business Executive Education (U-M EE) program’s profile among senior executives and talent managers through strategic media relations
- Develop compelling, clickable e-newsletter content for U-M EE to increase leads and drive website traffic
- Create a key message and brand platform for the Alumni Association of the University of Michigan (AAUM) and implement a series of training sessions for all staff and volunteer leadership on integrating the platform at every alumni touch point
