Julia Jaworski receives PRSA Rising Star Award
TROY, Mich. (Nov. 20, 2006) - Strat@comm Detroit's Julia Jaworski was awarded the 2006 Rising Star Award by the Public Relations Society of America's (PRSA) Detroit chapter. The Rising Star Award is presented each fall during the PRSA Detroit annual dinner and honors a young professional who has demonstrated exceptional ability, professionalism and achievement in her internship.
"Julia's contributions to the agency have been remarkable," said Kim Skeltis, APR, managing director/senior vice president at Strat@comm. "She carries herself with the confidence of a seasoned pro who had been in the business for years. She has a striking balance of intuition, intelligence and positive attitude that fits well within our culture and makes her a rising star in our industry."
Jaworski served as an intern with Strat@comm Detroit during the summer of 2006 and was hired in August as an assistant account executive. She provides support and research on several accounts, including DaimlerChrysler. Prior to joining Strat@comm in April 2006, Jaworski held internship positions at the Michigan Osteopathic Association and the UAW-GM Center for Human Resources.
